A faithful, fully working recreation of the classic Windows 98 Paint program that runs in the browser from a single HTML file, with no frameworks and no image assets: every icon, cursor and dialog is drawn in code.
Tools: free-form select, rectangular select, eraser and colour eraser, fill with colour, pick colour, magnifier with a pixel grid, pencil, brush with twelve shapes, airbrush, text, line, curve with two bends, rectangle, polygon, ellipse and rounded rectangle with outline, fill or both. The left mouse button draws in the foreground colour and the right button in the background colour.
Features: undo and redo, open PNG and JPEG files, save as PNG, BMP or JPEG, cut, copy and paste with the system clipboard, flip and rotate, stretch and skew, invert colours, canvas attributes, a 28-colour palette with an Edit Colors dialog, and keyboard shortcuts for every tool.
